When the CEO of a luxury retail brand invited us to remodel his primary suite, he was in the midst of a company evolution. He was redefining his brand, expanding his reach, and stepping into a new chapter. His initial request was straightforward: refresh the bedroom.

But a walk-through of his Beverly Hills apartment told a more compelling story. The home he lived in no longer matched the man or the public image he was building. Though he used only a handful of rooms, it was clear the entire space held untapped potential.

the challenge

Time was scarce. His schedule left little room for prolonged decision-making. Add to that a strict HOA, limited contractor availability, and extended product lead times. Every decision needed to be efficiently considered and quickly executed.

The approach

We proposed a full reimagining with a design that leaned into richness and restraint: moody tones, refined millwork, book-matched marble, fluted cabinetry, and layered materials that felt quiet but confident. Lighting from brands he represented became personal punctuation, less about spectacle, more about identity.

We streamlined the process, brought presentations directly to him, coordinated closely with his executive assistant, and kept momentum through clear communication and decisive action.

The Result

The apartment transformed into a composed, elegant home that supports both private life and public-facing moments. It’s a place where he now hosts with confidence and retreats with intention.

The weekend it was completed, he moved in with just a coffee maker and a change of clothes. He didn’t want to wait for a full move. Would you? When a space is built for where you’re headed, patience disappears.
